BuildChatbot Slack Integration

Slack Setup On BuildChatbot Application

STEP 1

Create a tenant account in https://buildchatbot.ai

STEP 2

Navigate to https://buildchatbot.ai/integrations Click Add to Slack for Connect Tenant Into Slack workspace.

Click Allow To Connect Tenant Into Slack

STEP 3

Navigate to https://buildchatbot.ai/chatbots Select the Chatbot

STEP 4

Navigate to integrations chat Navigate to Integrations Tab & select Slack. Enter the Primary Slack Channel Name on the input field shown below.

STEP 1

Navigate to Chat Bot Widget When the bot doesn’t knows the answer, it will show button to(here button named “Support”) Initiate Live Chat Live Chat Initiated in Slack

Reply To User Queries From Slack

Step 1

Navigate to Slack User Question will be populated under the primary channel configured above in the Step 4(Slack Setup On BuildChatbot Application) Click Click Channel To Join Conversation to open the specific user chat conversation channel & click Join. Reply to the user question from the specific user chat conversation channel.
